Simple Things are always Beautiful

ALIBAUG — The Land of Mysteries.
A special weekend with dear ones, away from our polluted city and fast paced life was the only wish I had before few days as I was bored with the daily routine. Going to college, helping mom, fighting with sister, eating, sleeping and chatting. I really needed refreshment. D was also very excited. We packed our bags and later when Sun God lighted the city with his tinsel rays, we left for Nahur.

My cousin brother picked us from Nahur and we all left for Alibaug. The moment we reached Muktai Nest, the place which we chose to stretch ourselves we refreshed ourselves and elder people were deciding who will take which room. Atmosphere was quiet peaceful and wow...there was a gallery too. It seemed greenery is the garland of beautiful Alibaug. But there was a fat danger dog near the garden area. I was not afraid as the dog was under the control of evil silver chains.

After contenting our stomachs, we relaxed and in the evening we left to Alibaug beach. Everything was so damn attractive over there. The waves were dancing, breeze was supervising the task given by the almighty, and sand was busy taking people to embrace the waves. But clouds and Sun had extremely good chemistry that evening. Their togetherness resulted in an orange tint which was a beautiful composure. We didn’t play much in water as high tides were too hungry and were pouncing on us.

We played too many games. Pictionary was our favourite but guys won that game twice. Even played Housie. And the most important family game of Kutchi’s i.e. Jackpot. It was fun too. The next day we went to Versoli beach. It was better than previous one. We splashed water on each other, wrote our names on sand, and also posed differently for photography. We played Garba in water too. We laughed together and enjoyed that day a lot.

Then last day we had to come back. But on our way back home, we went to Kashind beach. That was the best of all. It was really amazing. The water glittered because of the sunrays and the sand was too quick to take us inside. But it gave so much pleasure to me. I was so happy to be there with my family. Later we left for Birla Temple. It was again mesmerizing. Lord Ganesh was at the main area and temple was so well maintained. Greenery was lucky enough to stay under the shade of lords day and night. Then we came back to our normal life.

Mumbai’s dexterity to force us to come back and stay with it is commendable. This place speaks so much on its own. It teaches us to plant more and more. It has forts which describes Shivaji Maharaja’s sacrifice for us and many more things. We have many such low lying areas as we popularly call them outskirts areas which we never see deeply are the real beauty which also lie within us. We just need to recognize it.
