Peep in Yourself

Hello, somebody there???
This is your inner self
Surprised and flustered?
I am suffocating and succumbed to filth

Wandering what is the reason behind that?
The roots lie with my outer self
And that’s you!

I tried to burry all the filth inside me,
But I cant any more
Poor souls are cut into pieces,
And you gulp them down with a lick

How great you feel,
When satiating your hunger
With chicken and mutton

They die for your stomach
And add to your built
Daily I see them embracing me
I keep gazing the dumb lives

Once, pork was your dinner,
It was obviously dead
And crushed within your devil teeth

Everybody part was handicapped
But yet it managed to complaint me
About the world outside my body
Through his innocent wide open eyes

He said, “You have plenty of green to eat,
Like you, we also have a family
We also love our fellow animal member

We also have eyes, nose, and mouth like you
You trap one of us, and then boil our heart out
And separate each of our body parts
And blow a proud burp

You humans are really selfish
Your thinking can never go beyond yourself
You just know to fork us and roll and gulp

We can’t express ourselves
But why are you ignoring the fact?
You people talk about caring animals,
But why can’t you leave us alone?

We want to live, laugh and feel healthy life
I could not save my life,
But wish to save my fellow member’s…”

And you won’t believe,
He asked me help him at his last word
I am inside you, but you have all the power
Go ahead and make a difference.

Be a vegetarian

Lone Time...

The melancholy evening, the sadness clad clouds,
Couldn't’t bear the pain and shed tears.
Thousands of rain drops around me cloned,
Yet feeling alone.

The tip taps of the drops, the bathing of the glass,
Couldn't’t refrain itself to form a fog layer on it.
I sketched few humans on the glass like a moron,
Yet feeling alone.

The lovely trees, the dancing flowers,
All were mesmerized by the company of drops.
Even drops cooled a mere stone,
Yet feeling alone.

The smiling faces, the happening dance,
People were busy enjoying their rain party.
Musical instruments waltzed on human tone,
Yet feeling alone.

The crowdy streets, the messy roads,
Everyone had their friends along.
Felt in a completely different zone,
Yet feeling alone.

With this lone time, my wishes are blown,
Thus feeling alone, and just alone…….

Simple Things are always Beautiful

ALIBAUG — The Land of Mysteries.
A special weekend with dear ones, away from our polluted city and fast paced life was the only wish I had before few days as I was bored with the daily routine. Going to college, helping mom, fighting with sister, eating, sleeping and chatting. I really needed refreshment. D was also very excited. We packed our bags and later when Sun God lighted the city with his tinsel rays, we left for Nahur.

My cousin brother picked us from Nahur and we all left for Alibaug. The moment we reached Muktai Nest, the place which we chose to stretch ourselves we refreshed ourselves and elder people were deciding who will take which room. Atmosphere was quiet peaceful and wow...there was a gallery too. It seemed greenery is the garland of beautiful Alibaug. But there was a fat danger dog near the garden area. I was not afraid as the dog was under the control of evil silver chains.

After contenting our stomachs, we relaxed and in the evening we left to Alibaug beach. Everything was so damn attractive over there. The waves were dancing, breeze was supervising the task given by the almighty, and sand was busy taking people to embrace the waves. But clouds and Sun had extremely good chemistry that evening. Their togetherness resulted in an orange tint which was a beautiful composure. We didn’t play much in water as high tides were too hungry and were pouncing on us.

We played too many games. Pictionary was our favourite but guys won that game twice. Even played Housie. And the most important family game of Kutchi’s i.e. Jackpot. It was fun too. The next day we went to Versoli beach. It was better than previous one. We splashed water on each other, wrote our names on sand, and also posed differently for photography. We played Garba in water too. We laughed together and enjoyed that day a lot.

Then last day we had to come back. But on our way back home, we went to Kashind beach. That was the best of all. It was really amazing. The water glittered because of the sunrays and the sand was too quick to take us inside. But it gave so much pleasure to me. I was so happy to be there with my family. Later we left for Birla Temple. It was again mesmerizing. Lord Ganesh was at the main area and temple was so well maintained. Greenery was lucky enough to stay under the shade of lords day and night. Then we came back to our normal life.

Mumbai’s dexterity to force us to come back and stay with it is commendable. This place speaks so much on its own. It teaches us to plant more and more. It has forts which describes Shivaji Maharaja’s sacrifice for us and many more things. We have many such low lying areas as we popularly call them outskirts areas which we never see deeply are the real beauty which also lie within us. We just need to recognize it.

BLACK

For me, there is no other track,
The chosen one is only black.
Black in the day and black in the night,
I view my life without any sight.

For me, there is no left no right,
All the direction bare the same plight.
The divine one helps me out,
And walks with me the way throughout.

For me, there is no red no pink,
All the colours are of the same ink.
Playing with colours is not my luck,
Feeling is all life has pluck.

For me, life is all about to feel,
Which has bided my sight in a deal.
My black faith fails to cope,
But I don’t will to lose hope.

Cry of an Indian Girl…

(This poem is not reference to today’s women, but the conditions earlier)

When I was under my mother’s shade,
I dug my senses with a spade.
When I was born they weren’t so happy,
Though I was like a soft toy,
But I was not a boy.
When I started to carry a satchel,
I was forbidden to mingle.
When I touched my teen age,
They decided for me a marriage cage.
When I entered into my life’s new stage,
It turned to be a blank page.
I was left with a white sari,
And so called society decided,
I was not to remarry.
I was boycotted from every ceremony,
As if I was never a member of this economy.
Then one day my life’s tree was given a chance to bend,
But I never found when the suffering of an Indian girl will end.

A War Between Mirror and Reflection

Materialized Demands in a Diplomatic Figure.

The issue of demands is an ongoing cycle. If one need if fulfilled, you have others waiting in a long Que. Sometimes I just can’t understand why the beauty and other materialized things are chosen over a true and crystal clear heart. You must have witnessed many such situations across your life.

I have seen many love marriage couples. I noticed that either of one is a good looking person or other one is inferior in front of his /her partner. Of course they are together because they love and care for each other. But don’t you think so they have their so called beauty certificate given by the society? People say, “Ladki kitni gori hai, aur ladka saavla hai”, “Ladke ladki ki height mein toh kitna farak hai, jodi nai jam rahi hai”, “Are ladkiwale to bade amir hai” and so on. Why a personal life of an individual is peeped into by thousands of others including their family members.

Now talking about generation Y, they are more prone to loud and peppy world. Guys want girls who are the preachers of size zero along with confidence and beauty summed up in their closets. Girls too don’t lack behind and opt for those guys ho have some passion and determination to do something in life. But seldom anyone think about those who are beautiful from heart and not from cloths they wear. I have seen myself that even some of my male friends tend to glue their eyes on girls who wear short skirts, look hot and carry attitude. That’s natural that anything that eye finds attractive, looks to it often. But they are quite serious about their life partner they choose have to be similar sort of.

Even I received one comment at one of the family function were, my aunt’s friend had come with her son from Delhi. We all cousins were sitting together and the Delhi boy shared what he thought looking at me, my sister Deepali and also cousin Komal. He said me “you are a perfect wife material. Simple and traditional.” To be frank, I was a bit embarrassed that time. That embarrassment was not because I was not able to accept that comment, but at the age of 16, who would like to have such a comment?

Today if a girl’s waist is more than 28, then she feels she is too fat and starts dieting. I have many friends who are under pressure of their boyfriends to be sleek, beautiful and confident. Today it is like each girl and boy expects a lot from each other in terms of their wishes. And for their love, they take every pain to suit their partner’s wishes. But why we fail to understand that its persons inner beauty which maintains long term relationship. Today when asked to anyone, what type of girl or boy you want in your life? They answer like, “hmmm….I want a girl who is very beautiful but should have good nature also.” How diplomatic people can be. But seriously guys, we should know to respect good things in our life. Beauty is an added advantage, but it is not the sole thing looked in a person.

I just wanted you to ask yourself one thing, when you are attracted towards a girl or a boy, what is it that makes you look at him/her often? His/her looks or simplicity or figure or what?
