Education today, is not only a basic need, but must for survival. In each and every walk of life, it helps to make life better. This century witnesses all the variations in the education system and its complexities. Being only a graduate in this era won’t get you a bride or a groom. It needs more qualifications on your bio-data which will work as an icing on cake.
M.A, M.com, Post Graduation, M.B.A to name few are the stars which add to your identity. Being a student and struggling between their own and their parents wish is a tough task to perform. Education is more of who goes long way to fetch more degrees and goal it to their personal accounts. The moment you pass out your twelvth, parents, friends, family, teachers and counselors conquer your mind with thousands of streams for your future. It is very difficult to choose when there is so much competition within each course.
Day by day, there are lot many courses emerging as a result of booming demand. Media has also many streams under its shade. Public Relation, Advertising, Film direction, Journalism and more are in demand today. Specialization in any stream is possible. Also lot many institutions are catering to all possible courses. Media is an emerging field in education.
Career in media is stimulating interest in youths. When asked to students from different places and vivid interests, all had to say so much about what education system is, at present. Praveen K Jha, a Mass Media student says, "I am basically from Calcutta. I came to Mumbai and decided to study Mass Media. In start, I found it difficult and could not understand few subjects which were introduced in relation to media. But at the end I understood each and every thing, which is part of human nature, is related to media. This course really helped me to explore hidden talents in me and it’s a great platform to showcase the same. As every coin has two sides, education system has adopted different courses; it has built immense pressure when it comes to school education."
